Dawlish is a traditional bucket & spade seaside holiday resort.

There is a lovely Promenade, a range of hotels and guesthouse accommodation, and a busy little shopping centre.

Swimming and sports activities are available at the leisure centre and the Gardens are home to the Black Swans - which have given Dawlish its adopted emblem.

Dawlish Warren has delightful red sandy family bathing beaches which stretch for miles and sand dunes which inspire a sense of peaceful and remote isolation.

There is a golf course here and there are beautiful views across the River Exe estuary to Exmouth.

This is great walking country being on the South West Coastal Path with breathtaking paths above the red sandstone cliffs.

Dawlish and Dawlish Warren are situated on the main express railway line between Exeter and Torquay next to Teignmouth.
